In the past, manufacturers that obtained authorization management "Apple" accessories should pay related fees to Apple Company, including mobile power supply, Bluetooth keyboard/headset, all kinds of converter, data line, etc. With data line as an example: they should pay 5 ~ 6 dollars to Apple Company for each data line.

The sources are revealing that according to Apple authorized plan, in order to get the Apple's official approval, the third party manufacturers need to pay $4 authorized expenses for Apple when they sell one accessory.
