In recent years, some of the survey data
show that the dependence of both ends (top and terminal) of the circulation
channels to wholesalers is more and more obvious: one is that the
interdependency of producer to wholesalers is higher. Manufacturers are willing
to depend on the wholesalers' wide and deep distribution network to help their
products expand sales; the second is that retailers would like to buy complete,
cheap, high quality products convenient and fast from wholesalers. The trend
shows that wholesalers are the need for large production, big market and big
circulation; they are also the requirement of circulation scale, modernization
and high efficiency.
However, what about the reality of
wholesalers? Data show that 90% of wholesalers are tradesman that means they
only do business with people who find them actively. When they purchase, the
products are sent by the manufacturers door-to-door. They will buy what the
manufacturers sell. They lose a comparison and lose a choice. When they do
sales, they will be according to cargo plan single billing. They sell what
customers buy. It lost propaganda and lost a recommendation. In this way, it is
easy to lead that they didn't buy the hot sell goods and cause demand exceeds
supply, so that they lost the customer. They didn't sell the goods with
difficulty and cause unmarketable products, so that the capital backlog.
In the face of the fierce channel
competition, wholesalers are a connecting link between the preceding and the
